Use of Viagra on Infants
Believe it or not but it’s very true; though it was used in some very unusual circumstances that were very compelling 
indeed and Viagra saved the day for them and used as a last resort after exhausting all the available other options.
A child was born for some unknown reason with a Chronic Pulmonary Hypertension and this can result in death as it increases the flow of blood in pulmonary arteries. After trying everything and in due course 3 months passed by but situation got worse and worse then Viagra was used after consultation with experts on it and as it dilates, or relaxes the blood vessels in the lungs because it causes the smooth muscles to relax.
Though the behavior of Viagra in such situations where the relaxation of arteries or veins are concerned is very much know but very little was known about its effect on an infant.
It was later used in another case where a 1 year old child who had a congenital diaphragmatic hernia, which shifted all his internal organs upward at birth, putting tremendous pressure on the heart and lungs. While surgery has fixed the Herniation, his lungs continue to struggle as they remain overloaded and Viagra was the answer to this problem and they even used it as it relaxed the arteries and hence the pressure was very much weaned away.
